Asean calls for Aung San Suu Kyi release
 The Asean issued a chairman statement calling again for immediate release of Aung San Suu Kyi whose trail continued Tuesday for violation of her house arrest condition.
"The Government of the Union of Myanmar (Burma) is
reminded that the Asean Leaders had called for the immediate release
of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the regional grouping said in its statement issued late Monday.
Burma's opposition leader Suu Kyi together with two maids and an American John Yettaw who swam across the Inya Lake to her resident are being trail in a special court held in notorious Insein prison for the second day.
